Paul Fletcher Takes over as Glacier Range Riders New Manager
[October 24, 2023 - Kalispell, MT] - Chris Kelly, President of Ridge Run Baseball announced today Paul Fletcher will assume the role of Manager for the Glacier Range Riders in the 2024 season. With a baseball career spanning more than 23 years, Fletcher has an impressive track record and a deep passion for the game.
Over his career, he has honed his skills and gained valuable experience as a player, scout, and coach. As a player, Fletcher was drafted in the 24th round by the Kansas City Royals, then spent time with the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, and Pittsburg Pirates. Fletcher was also named as an All-Star in the Frontier League.
Fletcher has had various coaching positions at collegiate and professional levels and spent time coaching and managing in the Frontier and Atlantic Leagues. Fletcher also has scouting experience for organizations like the San Diego Padres, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, and Pittsburg Pirates. Throughout his scouting career, he discovered twenty-three players who eventually made it to MLB. His ability to inspire players, implement innovative strategies, and cultivate a winning mindset makes him an ideal fit for the Glacier Range Riders.
Fletcher joined the Range Riders mid-season of 2023 as a pitching coach and looks forward to an entire season in the Flathead Valley next year.
As the Glacier Range Riders Manager, Fletcher will lead the team, strategize game plans, mentor players, and foster a culture of excellence both on and off the field. With his proven leadership skills and extensive game knowledge, the Glacier Range Riders are confident that Fletcher will guide the team to success on the field.

The Glacier Range Riders are committed to bringing a championship to Flathead Valley. Under Fletcher's leadership, the team aims to continue the momentum of their second season which saw them wrap the year with a 54-42 record, second best in the PBL, but without a playoff berth.
At this time Stu Pederson remains with the organization. Pederson's leadership and mentorship of the players has been an important component to the improved record of the Range Riders from the inaugural season to the second season, and the Range Riders look forward to Pederson's continued mentorship of the players.
With Paul Fletcher at the helm, the Glacier Range Riders look forward to 2024.
